Mary K Denton, (Principal Attorney) has been practicing law since 1982. She has extensive experience working with businesses to resolve legal issues in a way that focuses on business goals and the bottom line. A Minnesota native, Ms. Denton moved with her family to Arizona and graduated from Arizona State Law School. Ms. Denton’s law career began by working for the Arizona Appellate Court where she clerked for the Chief Judge.
She later served as general counsel for a large closely held Arizona corporation which had diverse multi-state subsidiaries and divisions, including heavy equipment sales, rental and service, real estate development, an agriculture division, a heavy-haul trucking company, and an international sales division. As general counsel, Mary K learned the importance of practical and economical resolutions for the many legal hurdles businesses face. Working with people and within their budgets is her focus.
Ms. Denton moved with her family to Idaho in 1995. She practiced initially with the law firm of Penland, Munther, and Boardman and then opened her own firm, Business Legal Consulting,Pllc. for the purpose of creating a new feel and a new brand of legal work… one geared to client service in the same way as a corporate legal department. Today, Ms. Denton has kept true to her goal. Business Legal Consulting offers in-house counsel type services for businesses and corporations. The firm is small, responsive, and will strive to provide legal solutions within your budget.
Business Legal Consulting has represented businesses large and small;, publicly traded corporations and start-up firms.
In addition to providing excellent representation to her clients every day, Mary K contributes actively to her community. She is an active supporter of the Eternal League of Friends Charitable Co., a grass roots organization which helps refugees who were displaced from their country and find themselves in a foreign land without jobs or resources. She is fluent in French and Legalese.
Mary K also enjoys all of the outdoor activities that come with living in the beautiful State of Idaho. She is an avid skier in the winter and a golfer and outdoor enthusiast in the summer. Mary K also enjoys playing soccer and counts among her favorite achievements sponsoring a local women’s team called “Like your Lawyer”.
